Textiles have woven the story of all humanity since prehistoric times. The Retra-Tablos exhibition uses textiles to highlight the importance of promoting positive intercultural exchanges, create solidarity between different ethnic groups, a systemic exchange of ideas that lead to richer more fulfilling lives for heterogeneous people who share a common environment.
Retra-Tablos is an outreach program working with children, educators, artists and ancient textile art to meet educational, social, and cultural needs through art workshops, artist residencies, and field experiences.
