The work of Jeanne Jaffe

Please join us for a hands-on workshop with artist Jeanne Jaffee at Miami Dade College Hialeah Campus. Multi-disciplinary artist Jeanne Jaffe is the recipient of fellowship grants from the Gottlieb Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Mid Atlantic/NEA. the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Independence Foundation, Mino Artist Residency in Japan, the Leeway Foundation, the Virginia A. Groot Foundation, and was twice a sculpture discipline finalist for the Pew Fellowship in the Arts. Ms Jaffe has had artist’s residencies fellowships at Yaddo Artists’ Colony, Rutgers’s Innovative Printmaking Workshop, New Jersey Printmaking Council, Schuylkill Center, Yellow Springs Institute, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
View the exhibition and learn about her films, videos, stop motion, and sculptural works. A hands-on workshop with the artist will give you free reign to reimagine fairy tales and transform ideas into full concepts and works of art.
